Consumer & Tenant Protection Committee
The Consumer and Tenant Protection Committee explores the issues surrounding the protection of consumers and expansion of tenant rights. The committee has several approved legislative positions that promote these protections and rights and follows closely legislation that impacts consumers and tenants. The committee also will appear as amicus, provide technical support on consumer protection and tenant rights when requested, plans training events on these issues, and provides educational materials for consumers.
